3. TowPath Trail Bike Hire and TT Cycles
– It is a good idea to reserve bikes in advance. Bike shop is behind Sainsburys in Bradford on Avon – plenty of parking

4. Walking:

We are very spoilt around here with the abundance of walks right from your doorstep.
– Country Lanes/Footpaths: If you turn immediately left at the entrance to Church Farm it takes you up through country lanes, where you can then pick up public footpaths. There are many around here.
– The Kennet and Avon Canal: this is ¾ of a mile away and can be picked up at different points in the area. Please note we are on top of a hill here at Church Farm, so there will be an uphill climb on the way back. By following the canal, you can head in the direction of Bradford on Avon, or Bath. There are a number of cafes/pubs to refuel!
– Dogs: please take extra care with dogs and livestock in some of the footpath fields around here especially as we are a working sheep farm. Also kindly ensure that you clear away any dog mess and your dog is kept on a lead.

5. Cycling:
– Kennet and Avon Canal: the easiest place to join the canal on bike is to cycle down Winsley Hill, until you reach a bridge which crosses the canal. This is found by turning right onto the Winsley bypass and cycling on the main road for ½ a mile
– The Two Tunnels: Great fun for the whole family, and accessible from Church Farm. The impressive Combe Down tunnel is 1,674 metres and you can listen to piped music at some points along the way. This is a 13 mile circular walking or cycling route
– Bath to Bristol railway path

6. Spa Treatments/Massages:

For a little bit of pampering whilst on holiday, take a look at Vitality Spa, in Bradford on Avon. There are some really great treatments on offer at reasonable prices
